This four-day training workshop at ILI's Technology Learning Center in Santa Fe teaches computer and multimedia technology skills to create materials in print in the Native languages such as: storybooks, flash cards, brochures, calendars, newsletters, business cards, etc.
Instructors provide hands on training on the following technology skills:
“Digital Storytelling” is an emerging term, one that arises from a grassroots movement that uses new digital tools to help ordinary people tell their own 'true stories' in a compelling and emotionally engaging form. These stories usually take the form of a relatively short story (less than 8 minutes) and can involve interactivity.

This four-day training workshop at ILI's Technology Learning Center in Santa Fe teaches computer and multimedia technology skills to create short audiovisual stories in the Native languages using the digital storytelling template. Workshops are offered in either Windows (using MovieMaker) or Mac (using iMovie) platforms. Please see the Workshop Schedule section below for your choice.
Workshop participants are asked to come prepared with a story they want to relate in 3-5 minute format, visual materials (photos, artwork, video clips) and audio materials (songs, music, oratory).
