So much of our traditional knowledge is embedded in tribal language. If we are going to preserve that knowledge and bring it forth to help solve the issues facing mother earth we must sustain our languages. Our ancestors were accomplished scientists and engineers. From agriculture, building, cosmic and star knowledge, navigation, wildlife managment and healing plants - Indigenious people practiced and taught much of the science still in existance today. With every language lost - we lose that knowledge. We commend all the people and programs working hard to keep indigenious languages alive. thank you!
